I enjoy drawing challenges. Today’s r/Sketchdaily drawing prompt is: Banana Pudding How cute is her little pink leotard! As a member of blogging communities, I share my posts here too: https://guestdailyposts.wordpress.com/guest-pingbacks/ https://plus.google.com/u/2/communities/103525137929319878376

This post fills the brief for today’s sketch prompt, supplied by r/Sketchdaily.
Today’s sketching prompt ‘Angels’ came from the Sketchdaily subreddit. A community of artists and bloggers.
I took my iPad and stylus (instead of traditional materials) to Portrait Drawing class recently, I found it so convenient to draw on the iPad. It was there that I sketched my friend the lovely Miss Rhonda.
Today’s prompt is Candy People. It is a character design challenge run by Character Design References. Thanks to SketchDaily on Reddit who have been issuing daily drawing prompts. Meet today’s character, the sweet little ‘Miss Candy.’

Another quick iPad drawing. This sketch was based on a photograph of people at a craft group. I like how the concentration still shows in her posture and face in spite of the minimalist style of drawing.
I’ve been practicing drawing facial expressions for a portraiture project that I have undertaken. This one shows pain. It does look ouch, doesn’t it? Sketched on my iPad with a stylus.
